Jehovah's Witnesses

Do yourself a favor and stay away. I had terrible experiences there--bullies, cliques, corporal punishment encouraged for kids, and interference with parents' medical decisions about their own child, if that child needs a blood transfusion (forbidden).

Once I got sick of all that and stayed away, I started to research their doctrines. What a shock. Their Young Earth Creationism books had misquoted scientists, including Carl Sagan, claiming scientists agreed with their teachings. And that's only the beginning...lots of inaccurate doctrines, apocalyptic focus, exclusionary, etc.

Very peaceful and friendly. They really open their bibles alot and have a great bible study on Sundays.
