We recently contracted John Perry construction to build a 1,800 sq. ft. deck wrapping around a swimming pool and part of the house. The deck ranged from a ground level concrete swimming pool to 10 feet off the ground; every challenge imaginable. John Perry thrived on the challenges, solved every problem, and built everything even better than we could have expected. It was obvious early on, that his interest lie in doing a perfect job rather than money. His positive attitude and confidence added fun and excitement to an otherwise daunting project. We have had some wonderful craftsmen do projects for us, but John Perry is in a class by himself. His planning ahead, expertise, attention to detail, and can-do attitude make him a pleasure to work with. Mr. Perry’s crew are all journeyman craftsman and builders. They love their work, and it shows. They were personable, respectful, talented and a pleasure to have around our house.



They came to this big project and worked diligently for the entire time it took to build everything and complete the job. They cleaned up the site immaculately before they left each day. When there were changes to the job, they said, “Yes, no problem” and moved on with the project.



John Perry and his crew are the best deck builders in the business today, and I give them the highest possible recommendation.

John Perry and his crew were not only a joy to work with (we looked forward to seeing them every morning), they were over-the-top detail oriented and made sure everything was perfect, and then some. They did what they said they would do, only better. We had a HUGE deck project and all throughout I was so happy that we chose to go with John Perry for this job. As with any job, we were concerned about finding a contractor that would do quality work at a reasonable price. John Perry Construction was absolutely amazing! We showed John some pictures of decks we liked and he provided us with multiple, professional, architectural drawings of options that would fit our needs. He promised that he only took on one job at a time and would be devoted to our project and stuck to it. He and his crew were the most professional and friendly team we could hope for. We are now the talk of the town with our new deck! Our friends have deemed our house their "new vacation home."! We've since hired John and his crew to take on another project which I'm sure will be incredible as well. My wife and I recently had John Perry Const. build a two level deck off the back of our second home on the Russian River, and we couldn't be happier with it.

We contacted John and over a couple of meetings we conveyed what we had in mind and he came up with a design that we just loved, even incorporating two big trees into the plan. We wanted the deck to become an extension of our house so we could enjoy meals and evening get togethers. But we also wanted an area where our nine year old son could play and also for it to merge into a boardwalk going down through a wooded area to the river.

John couldn't start immediately, because of another job, but he got the plans drawn up and submitted to get the permit process started right away.

Once he started there was a hive of activity and his crew took care not to trample our plantings along the side of the house while getting the concrete and lumber into the back.

Since it is our second home I wasn't able to be around for much of the construction, though my wife and son were there a lot of the time while I would come up on the weekend, but we had no problem trusting John with a key to the house.

The crew were very polite and courteous during the build, sometimes even allowing my son to wear a tool belt and hammer a few nails.

Before the final payment we had a problem with a gate on the side of the house and John took care of it right away and made it better than it was. He even played piano for us!

My Wife and I would highly recommend John Perry to anyone.
