Pediatric Psychology Associates

I am very disapointed because this is a clinic of psycholigists who are still in school. They are doing their clinic hours there. That wouldn't be so bad if they were upfront about what they are. I didn't like feeling that I was being seen by a student and not told about it. I also didn't like that my child was being seen by a student. I learned that the "testing" was done by a student with no experience in neuropsychology, and that the supervisor was also a student and didn't have a license. I took the report to a neuropsychologist that I found through my insurance, and he couldn't believe the report. He said the report was "mediocre at best." He said some tests weren't even completed but that they made conclusions based on it anyway. Now my child has to be RE TESTED, which is very time consuming and expensive, and the tests used the first time, he said he shouldn't use again since he just did those tests and they might not be valid now. He also said to be careful and always check to make sure the person you see has a license. This clinic has a bad reputation, I found out, because they do a lot of talking but don't have the professionals or expertise to do any of it. Be careful!!
