Dental Touch

The new treatment suites are state of the art, calming and very nicely appointed for patient comfort. Dr. Prat choose an open suite floor plan rather than closed rooms which I like as it's very airy and light. All you need do is ask for a private consultation and you will be accommodated.

I never found the treatment rooms to be anything but acceptably clean. Yes, the offices were becoming very worn and tired, but for a reason. Piedmont Ave is a protected historic district and it has taken many years for Dr. Prat to receive approval to renovate from the committee. As a business person I can understand why Dr. Prat would make do as long as possible. It's disingenuous to complain about prices and expect him to spend money on carpets that are to be removed. Had you bothered to ask he would have cheerfully explained his plans to upgrade and expand. Even so, The Dental Touch has been digital for a number of years and was not lacking in state of the art equipment or treatment options. It is completely up-to-date esthetically now as well.

I have been a patient at the Dental Touch since 1998 and haven't had any issues. Dr. Prat has always presented me with detailed printed treatment plan and costs and explained in detail what was required and options. I originally went to The Dental Touch as it was in my PPO network and nearby my workplace.

Our previous dentist was like dentist to the stars. They cost a fortune and were always trying to get us to bleach our teeth and buy overpriced fancy toothbrushes. We switched to the Dental Touch several years ago because they were less expensive and not so much into marketing.

I am impressed by how extremely nice, knowledgeable and professional the entire staff are.

I've been treated by four different dentists at the Dental Touch, and they have all been very competent and thorough. They take time to show me photos of my teeth and explain what's going on, which I appreciate. Dr. Pratt recently did an excellent job of putting a crown on one of my teeth. It looks and feels great! He also took the trouble to show me how to floss properly, which no one has ever really done before.
