- Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay is a local nonprofit that has been changing lives through the power of work since 1916. With the support of community donations that we sell in our stores, we create life-changing opportunities for local people experiencing barriers to employment by providing free career services, job training and jobs. We also provide an affordable alternative to buying new - which is good for the planet and our local community.

I thought second hand stores are supposed to be cheaper than what you can find new! After way too much time wasted looking for any gift I could offer my nieces and nephew, I gave up. Only thing I would recommend this store for is convenient donations.

I shop here all the time for a year now. I think it is a clean large well kept store. The prices seem a little high on some of the items. clothes They do have some newer things -like returns from Target. I have bought some really nice clothes, dishes and other odds and ends here.
The people who run it are nice and friendly.
One woman who checks me out when I shop, always tells me when the next sale day is coming up.
