She completed her dental degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine and was awarded with honors in Prosthodontics and Endodontics and membership to Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity. While in Connecticut, she participated in surgical externships including an oral health mission trip to Curarrehue, Chile. She went on to complete a General Practice Residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center.
