Dr. Steven Harrison, D.C. graduated from Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology and Doctorate of Chiropractic. He has extensive post graduate training in Functional Medicine and Clinical Nutrition through Health Centers of the Future and several leading nutrition companies. Dr. Harrison has also had in depth post graduate functional blood chemistry training. He continues to learn as new information becomes available all of the time. He is currently enrolled to obtain diplomate status in Functional Neurology through the Carrick Institute which he feels will help him better address the neuro-endocrine component of his clients health problems. Dr. Harrison consults with patient locally in his Ocoee, Florida office and globally by phone or skype. His Functional Medicine programs involve taking a very in depth history and review of the body’s systems. He then uses specific diagnostic testing to discover the underlying cause of your health problem allowing him to customize a functional medicine program to specifically address chronic debilitation conditions such as type II diabetes, fibromyalgia, hypothyroid, autoimmune, digestive issues, leaky gut, chronic fatigue and heart disease. Dr. Harrison has dedicated this website to bringing Functional Medicine to all who need it. He is committed to finding the root cause of his client’s condition, finding the imbalance or dysregulation in the body’s neuroendocrine system and organ system physiology and addressing these problems at the cellular level in order to achieve lasting change in their health. Understanding that he is one person and can only take on a handful of clients and maintain quality of care, he created the “Membership” portion of the website, an excellent resource for those who he cannot take on personally or for those who find finances too difficult to manage “One on One” coaching.
