I brought in an audio tape from a funeral that was nearly 55 years old. I didn't know if they would be able to get anything off of it, or if it was too old and deteriorated. When I received the MP3 it was as if it was recorded yesterday. I have since then taken other items to be transferred to DVD, MP4, MP3, etc. I have been THRILLED with the quality of all of them. Larsen's told me up front what the price would be, plus how long the items would take to complete. I will use them again and again for all of the projects I want to do, and all of the memories I want to preserve. THANK YOU LARSON DIGITAL SERVICES!

I just sent over 500 slides from my childhood, to convert to digital for my family for Christmas. What I received back was simply amazing. My slide’s that had degraded over time came back as clear as I remembered them. They all received the standard automated color balance and fade correction. Not to mention they were all right side up, on the DVD!

Their attention to detail was great. The best part is that I felt more secure having my slides stay in the USA, verses getting shipped over seas like all the other companies. Another plus, for something so precious, in my book.

Finally, their communication, from start to finish, let me rest assured that my memories were in safe hands. I would, and have, highly recommend them to family and friends.

I found Larsen when researching someone to scan old, out-of-date 126 and 110 negatives. Their quality was impeccable, esp. considering the age of the negatives. I have used 2 other companies for the basic 35mm, but I wish I had found Larsen before. Their quality is BY FAR BETTER than the other companies I used. I am considering redoing some of my 35mm negs with Larsen instead - they are that much better.

I used Larsen Digital to transfer our family's 16 mm movies from 1937 through 1957 to DVD's and MP4's so that I could edit them and preserve them for the extended family. Before entrusting our irreplaceable treasure to the mail, I talked to Larsen Digital by phone, and they were very helpful about ways to mail the movies, and what form to request. The movies arrived in good time, and the results made our Christmas very special.

I have used Larsen Digital twice, once a few years ago and then again this year. This time I had them convert my dads old movie film to a DVD. I thought they did a great job. The movie film was a pretty faded so I added color correction and my dad was really happy with the results. I really liked that they uploaded my film online so I could see it before I made the discs and edit out some boring video. Overall I have been very satisfied with them both times I have used them. I have recommended them to my friends.

I had them scan some slides. Their advertised "Special" price did not include the DVD or CD that contained the scanned photos ... THEY CHARGE EXTRA FOR THAT!! They advertised a "DVD Video Slideshow" special. I ordered that and THEY CHARGED EXTRA FOR THE DVD!!!. I asked how they could provide a DVD Video Slideshow without putting it on a DVD (which they charged extra for and was not mentioned in the ad) and they had no answer for that.



They promise good work and attention to detail ... then send me DVDs belonging to someone else. When I finally got my own DVDs with the scanned images, about 1/2 had very visible vertical scan lines on them. I asked about that and initially they said there weren't any scan lines but later admitted that the lines were there but could only be seen if the images were magnified. When I told them I didn't magnify the images they then said it was just my equipment causing the problem. I pointed out that I had viewed the images on 2 different computers with the same images showing the lines. I also asked why only ½ of the images had the lines since if my equipment were causing the problem then ALL the images would have the lines rather than half. They had no answer for that.



The slideshow that they send was a total piece of garbage. The images were so poor it was hard to tell who was who. I was so frustrated that I went on the net, found a free slideshow program and built my own slideshow. That free program produced a slideshow with images that were much more clear than the garbage Larsen Digital sent me. Do not use this company!
