        just so-so

        Waitresses spoke no Japanese which wouldn't have been a problem, but they didn't even understand words that were on the menu. When I wanted to order "zaru-soba" they tried to correct me to yakisoba. If the menu is going to be in Japanese, they should be able to comprehensive the menu items. The cook was very nice, though. Nothing really super great about it when I went, though.

        Supurb Cuisine

        I have been frequenting Akagi for their excellent sushi since the day I noticed their arrival. While their location makes it somewhat difficult to find, they serve the best sushi I have experienced in the Lansing area. The service is exceptionally fast and courteous. The staff go above and beyond to ensure your satisfaction as a customer. For all you get, the prices are very fair. I personally recommend the lunch specials.
