Wonderful place to go before a basketball game, we got a humongous slice of pizza AND beer for $5.00. This will be our go to spot when we go downtown.

I love to eat out but sadly only go to three places in the whole city because, either the food is so bad it will makes me ill (fast food joints), or because it costs so much that all the fun is flat gone right out of the meal. Joey's Pizzeria is so the nicest combination of low price and really really good food with the most relaxing atmosphere that have ever experinced. I was in there at a time when it was fairly empty and was asked what type of music I would like playing. The waiter was very friendly and respectful. I just love this little place!

My wife and I eat here regularly and usually have a great meal and enjoy visiting with the staff but, after our visit the other evening i do not know if we will be going back. I am guessing that they are under new management. The new lady seemed short with us and somewhat irritated. There are still some familiar faces there and those employees were very welcoming as usual. We chose to stick with this place so long because we absolutely LOVED the pizza. The crust was always fluffy and tasted awesome. However, our visit the other evening the crust just seemed heavy and not as pleasant to eat. Just like any other pizza place in the phone book. I think we may give them one more chance, hopefully they just had an off day. If anyone knows if they are under new management please give feedback!

I was looking for a change from a pizza chain, and this place was great!!! The staff was very friendly, and the pizza was excellent. If you are looking for a great high quality pizza, try this place. I will definitely be returning. Ignore the bad comment left by the previous reviewer, it is under new management now.

We have tried this pizza twice now and both times we were not impressed. The sauce is good, slightly sweet, but the crust is soggy and the pizza both times was cold.
please try us again, we are under new management
