In 2009, she introduced this medical infrared imaging technology into her practice. With this technology, she is able to obtain early detection of abnormal breast tissue that assists her in formulating treatment plans to help prevent breast cancers. With thermography, she can monitor the effectiveness of changes in lifestyle, diet and nutrition therapies, and hormone regulation without damaging radiation exposure. Dr. Diehn also uses thermography to obtain whole body diagnostics with hyperthermia patterns that are helpful in confirming and detecting potential problem areas in other parts of the body.
