PRIVATE LESSONS:Violin Lessons, Viola Lessons, Cello Lessons, Bass Lessons, Guitar Lessons, Banjo Lessons, Voice Lessons, and piano lessons for ages 3 through adults. GROUP CLASSES:Theory Classes, Composing Workshops, String Quartet Coaching, and Symphony Masterclasses, INFANT/TODDLER MUSIC CLASSESNurture your child's imagination and prepare her for a lifelong love of music and learning! Our innovative baby and toddler classes introduce numbers, letters, and basic musical concepts through music, movement, puppets, stories, and joyful play. ORCHESTRAS Young Virtuosos -String orchestra designed for students in grades 3-9 looking for a challenge beyond ordinary classroom music.Advanced Chamber Strings -This string orchestra is designed for exceptional students in grades 7 through 12. This orchestra performs VERY challenging material.Adult Chamber Strings -Our adult string orchestra is a fun, low pressure group that provides growth and performance opportunities for beginning to intermediate adult students.

The Metropolitan Strings Academy is South Johnson County's specialized center for stringed instrument education. We have partnered with KC Strings Violin Shop to offer the highest quality instruments, supplies, and musical instruction all in one convenient new location! Choose your music teacher with confidence! All Metropolitan Strings Academy instructors have BACHELORS or MASTERS DEGREES and all teachers undergo a full background check before joining our team.

Location

The Metropolitan Strings Academy is located on the Southwest corner of 151st Street and Black Bob Road, just past Sonic. We are located inside of KC Strings South.
