Provided by SuperpagesFront desk is very UN-helpful in providing information about adoptions, and doesn't seem to care at all to help find these pets' homes, not to mention extremely RUDE. I'm never one to write reviews period let alone go out of my way to write a bad one but it's been multiple times I've been here and have dealt with the rude & unhelpful front desk so I felt inclined to say something. Find someone FRIENDLY to deal with the public seeking adoptions or placing their animal for adoption. Or anything that has to do with speaking to the public for that matter.

Provided by Superpagesdo you help get horses to horse plus H.S? Do you know they are not a REAL humane society , just name only? Just not a good so called " rescue" unless someone wants their horse killed when they leave it there to be adopted out..............

Provided by Superpagesthe people here are absolutely horrible. My dog came home acting like they abused him, he pee's every time I try to pet him now! My dog isnt the same dog any more, and its their fault! I only gave them one star because it wouldnt let me leave it blank.

There was a rabies vaccibe clinic so I took my new dog there, in line several dogs got of leashes and scared my dog. I waited 2 hours and there wasnt one mention that they didnt take debit cards. I got to the front and they told me and the old hag was complaining about my stroller. Sorry my husband is deployed and im here doing everything, I was being a responsible pet owner unlike half the trash in this town. Screw you all.

Provided by SuperpagesI've always had good experiences going to this pound. I've gotten 3 cats from there over the years and I've never had any problems with them. The workers are always nice and try to fit us with the best possible animal.

Provided by SuperpagesI am so sorry that you felt you were mistreated by Yuba County Animal Care Services. I am a volunteer with the shelter and it is standard policy for any owner surrenders to fill out a detailed form so we can find "Forever Homes" for all the animals in our care. The only time they only take name, address, and phone number is when a stray is brought in. Maybe there was a misunderstanding at the time your pet was brought in. We make every effort possible to place the animals in our care in to the best homes. The staff and volunteers at the shelter work hard to make YCACS the best it can be. We deal with hundreds of animals a month, but that does not mean we do not treat each and everyone as if it were our own.

Provided by SuperpagesI know Yuba County Animal Control in Olivehurst, CA is very dedicated to the care of all animals. My daughter-law and son put in many volunteer hours. Both love and care for all animals like a family member. Talk to them and you will gain much needed information in caring for your pet. There are so many sad reports on pets being mistreated. Pets are so innocent so treat them like family.

Provided by SuperpagesI was surprised to see how much compassion the workers at the animal shelter have for the animals they keep. They were very helpful in getting our family fitted with the best possible dog. We've had her for a year and love her more every day that we have with her. I can't thank them enough for what they do.
