X-rays
Dental Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is a specialized type of x-ray that provides information above and beyond conventional dental x-rays. CBCT uses advanced technology to provide us with three-dimensional digital images of dental structures, bone, nerve paths and soft tissues which are much more detailed than conventional two-dimensional dental x-rays. This allows us to more safely and precisely diagnose and treatment plan for our patients. It is a simple and comfortable process which can diagnostically image bone, teeth and soft tissue simultaneously.
Oral Cancer Screening
We also perform an oral cancer screening. This is a quick screening of your intra-oral tissues during which we check for abnormalities such as lesions or unusual growths. Oral cancer screenings are essential for the early detection and treatment of oral cancer.

Dental Sealants
Dr. Walker is a member of the advisory board for South Puget Sound Community College Dental Assisting Program, where he has taught part-time. Fillings

Dental Bonding
After this, we proceed to apply the dental bonding resin, which we carefully mold around your tooth and then harden with an ultraviolet light. Dental Implants
To determine whether dental implants are best for you, our first step is for us to look at your gums and jawbone to see if they are healthy and strong enough to support a titanium post. If the bone turns out to be too soft or too thin, we can still make it work so long as you are open to a bone graft procedure that will strengthen your jawbone. Our next step will be to check the location of your sinuses and the bone height of your upper jaw. If either of these are in problematic positions, this can be fixed with a sinus lift procedure. Once we have determined that your jaw is correctly positioned, your gums are healthy, and that your bones are strong, then we can give you the dental implants you need to address the gaps between your teeth.

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Oral Surgery
Dental implants are referring to titanium posts that act much like one of your tooth roots inserted with a new tooth or bridge attached to fill in gaps or damaged teeth. When you come in for oral surgery, we can insert one of these rods directly into your jawbone and underneath your gum line. We do this so that the implant can be attached firmly to a solid surface. This means that anything on top of the post will not move unexpectedly or become loose. The alternative to this is dental bridges that can have some negative effects on neighboring teeth because of their anchoring effect. By choosing dental implants, we will not have to grind down adjacent teeth in order to keep the new tooth or teeth in their correct spot.

Invisalign Orthodontics
Treatment is much more discreet. The Invisalign aligners practically disappear from view. No one will be able to tell that you are wearing them.
Braces
Crooked teeth have traditionally been treated with metal braces. This treatment uses brackets and wires to move your teeth into proper alignment, improving your smile and your oral health. The brackets are bonded to the front surfaces of your teeth. A wire spans across your arch of teeth, attached to the brackets using elastic O-rings.
