Dr. Turner grew up in California and the Pacific Northwest. After finishing her B.S. at the University of Washington, she moved out east. Dr. Turner graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Dr. Turner then spent nine years working as an outpatient veterinarian at humane societies, a year in emergency medicine, and five years in private practice.
