Kathryn Bratberg, RN, M.S. CNP - owner and president of Eat Well Nutrition & Wellness, Inc. is Board "Certified in Holistic Nutrition"(registered trademark) through the National Association of Nutrition Professionals. This business was created to provide nutritional education and support to clients who want to make healthy lifestyle changes. Many have reached a point in their lives (their personal fork in the road) where 1 path leads to illness, but through education and guidance can choose another, healthier path. We provide education and support about gluten free diets, dairy free diets, and diets to lower their carbohydrate intake, especially processed carbs and simple sugars. We educate about healthy fats vs. unhealthy ones. We whole-heartedly support organic foods that have not been genetically modified. By supporting cleaner farming and manufacturing practices, we not only support our own health, but the health of the environment. We follow food preparation principles taught by the Weston A. Price Foundation. We are certified to use First Line Therapy programs created, researched and supported by Metagenics with specific diets, supplement suggestions and use of specialized liquid protein foods. This program is used for clients who present with metabolic syndrome; need weight management, for overall heart health, digestive health, inflammatory issues and detoxification, and general health maintenance. We provide body mass index analysis with a BIA machine (Bio-Electrical Impedance Analysis), as part of our First Line Therapy program. We will take you shopping and teach you how to recognize healthy and life supporting foods, specific for you, and then help you plan healthy meals with this food. We love to educate and share our knowledge with the community, so will gladly accept invitations to speak to your groups and be a resource person about healthy, organic, life-sustaining foods.
