Kiewit

The owner of this shop is Stan Docekal. It's in the basement of the Kiewit building. It's a bit hard to find because the Kiewit people won't let him put any sign or barber pole on the outside of the building to tell people it's there. But they did completely remodel the shop a couple of years ago and it is very bright and clean.

Stan gives great haircuts. He also gives excellent shaves. Every man should have a barber shop shave occasionally, and this is one of the few shops in Omaha that offers the service.

Stan is always cheerful and pleasant. He addresses all of his customers as "young man" no matter how old they are. And you may run into Warren B. as one of his customers. All in all, this is one of the best traditional barber shops I know of anywhere.
