Neff Towing Service

Needed a tow around the block. vehicle stalled at the bottom of a the hill on 60th & Ames (northwest side). Van would be towed to southwest corner of intersection of same intersection to Tires plus. $60 for hook up alone and $1 per 1 mile. Near the intersection the back street block is .2 miles. I informed the operator I would pass on her service and get another tow company to do the job.

The operator seemed offended I didn't want them to tow my car. I told her my issue wasn't with her and i apologized if she felt offended. I think what put me off was the operator was trying to convince me to use her service after I told her I wasn't interested in paying the $60. If you need a tow and your desperate I can see how you may bite the bullet. But since I am paying, i get to choose if I want to do business with you.

I needed to tow my car from my residence to the dealer. I called the business at 8:30 am for a 1:30 appointment. The reception lady said that it wouldn't be a problem getting a 1:30 in. By 1:50, no show and no call informing me that the truck was running late. I call back the business to get an ETA. Very rudely the receptionist told me the truck can't just sit around and gave the truck a job way out in rural Iowa and will get to me whenever he's finished. So basically blew me off at my expense. Very poor professionalism and customer service. Don't waste your time here or you'll be stranded for a very long time.

I was stranded on the side of the road. i used my cell phone to find Neff's. very professional company, helped me and did overcharge me because i was desperate. i give them two thumbs up.
