I was recommended to Big John's by a close friend who had numerous excellent experiences. At first, I was thrilled to find a "buy here pay here" with a good reputation and had high hopes that I would continue to choose this location for my future vehicles. Unfortunately, the car they sold me was a lemon. Only 3 months post-purchase, the engine blew and all Big Johns could offer me was a $500 discount on a $4500 new engine. I was 6 days away from my pregnancy due date, and I was most definitely not going to put $4000 into a car that itself only cost $6500. It blew my mind that a company that so many people deemed reliable, screwed me over by giving me one lousy unrealistic option for a car they sold me as "reliable". As I look back I realize how fishy they were during the buying process as well. Not saying this is the case for everyone, but beware.

I bought a van from them around may of 2010 and love my van the people at Big Johns are great and like family!!!
