Plato's Closet

I had a great experience with Plato's closet in Orange. It has huge signs in the windows saying that it is under new management. The girl who greeted me was super friendly when I dropped off some used clothes. Between me and my step mom, we made over $30. They went through the two bags very fast and I am for sure bringing a lot of my other stuff here!

The only thing is that they have a lot of stuff in the store, which is great when you are shopping, but sometimes they are limited on what they can take because they already have a lot of a specific item.

My favorite thing to look at when I went was the shoes, they had all different sizes and I really was surprised by all of the different styles.

Overall I had a great time selling my clothes here. I am glad that I checked it out even though it had some negative reviews. I had never been there before but I think that everyone who gave it bad reviews should take a second look because of the new management and all.

If a business states it will be open mon-fri 10 am-8 pm then they need to be open, or have a sign on their door and message on an answering machine stating why they are abnormally closed. Pretty ridiculously rude to not inform you potential customers! That's not saying much for "new management."

TERRIBLE! It took them almost 4 hours to even look at the two bags that I brought in and when they did they barley looked through them! They didn't take any of my clothes because they wernt "new" enough when half of the clothes had tags still on them! And while I was waiting for them I had a chance to look around there store where most of the clothes there are more then a year old! I will never go there again!

This store is way too high maintenanced!!! The staff is very rude and they have no fn clue what brands are in. I brought 2 garbage bags full with clothes and they took 3 items all for $9! What a waste of time! I don't recommend this store to anyone!!! Personally I think they should close all Platos Closets around the world because the only reviews that I have read are horrible!! The worst consignment store I have ever seen!

HORRIBLE STORE! Their items are overpriced and tacky. They don't know what style is and they certainly DO NOT respect any brands. Especially if you are looking to thrift here, don't do it! They give you barely any money, and then re-sell the item for three times more than the price they thrifted it for! I am completely dissatisfied, the store obviously needs new management!
