General Info

Established in 1988, Christian Childcare Inc. serves families needing care for children as well as older adults. Its first Gathering Place child care center was opened in 1998 in Oregon, Ohio. It offers family support services, including breakfast, take-home meals and a gift shop that also carries home and convenience items from diapers, bath toys to toy cars to tutus. The Gathering Place has been featured in the Association of Christian Schools International s (ACSI s) early childhood magazine CEE, as a model of dynamic Christian early childhood environments. It won the PRISM award for community improvement from the local economic development corporation.
