Prior to joining the firm, Joe served as a Staff Attorney with the Seneca County Department of Job and Family Services where he represented the State of Ohio in child abuse and child support enforcement matters. He then represented the City of Mansfield as an Assistant Law Director, prosecuting traffic and misdemeanor criminal offenses as well as advising the City in a wide range of civil matters.

Cheryl serves as president of the Wayne County Volunteer Guardianship Association and is a Trustee for the Orrville Area Boys and Girls Club and Wayne County Community Foundation and also serves on the Board member for the Amish Country Lodging Council. Cheryl lives outside of Orrville with her husband, John, and four children. The Kirkbrides also own The Inn at Walnut Creek in Holmes County.

In 2021, Jason became a partner with the firm. He focuses his practice in the areas of real estate, civil litigation, corporate, business, estate planning, probate administration, and family law. Jason is a licensed title insurance agent and is active with the firm’s title company, Kropf Title & Escrow and serves as the Village Solicitor for Smithville. Jason also serves as the chair of the firm’s party planning committee.
