General Info: Welcome to The River House Bed and Breakfast – an historic Queen Anne built in 1890. The River House sits high on a bluff overlooking where the Illinois and Fox Rivers cross paths and has beautiful views of both rivers and the town of Ottawa. The location is walking distance to the shops, bars and restaurants in the beautiful, quaint town of Ottawa Illinois. We are a quick, scenic drive to four state parks - Starved Rock, Buffalo Rock, Matthiassen and Illini.
