Primary Care
Your child should have a well child visit at the intervals listed below. Our provider schedules are open 12 months ahead so we recommend that you call our office 3-6 months in advance to schedule an appointment with your child's primary care provider on the date that best fits your needs.
Ear Infections
Colds, upper respiratory infections, and URIs are common terms we use to describe viral illnesses that cause nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, fever, and cough. The fever usually lasts for 2-3 days, and the cough with congestion and runny nose may last for 5-10 days. The typical preschool-age child may experience 6-10 colds per year. Most colds resolve on their own with rest and fluids, but some may lead to ear infection, sinus infection, asthma attack, or other complications. If you are concerned about the possibility of one of these complications, please have your child seen in our office for an evaluation.
Emergency Care
NON URGENT CARE: Please use the "Is Your Child Sick" symptom checker for non urgent medical questions & conditions found on our Home Page.

Immunizations
Seeing your adolescent yearly is very important. Teens are presented with difficult decisions every day. Counseling during this visit is vital as they grow and change quickly. We will also update necessary immunizations at this visit.
ADHD, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder can present as an attention or behavioral disturbance, inability to function on a daily basis, difficulty focusing, impulsive behavior, or poor self control. It can also impact learning as well as cause problems at home and in social situations.
Depression
Mental Health
The unexpected arrives often and sometimes finding the right resources to help can be difficult. You may learn that your child was diagnosed with a medical condition and requires follow-up with a specialist; or you may have a child struggling with anxiety or other mental health issues, but are overwhelmed and unsure of where to start. We are here for you. We have two dedicated Care Coordinators who work specifically with these types of situations and many others every day.
Behavioral Health
For chronic issues such as ongoing abdominal pain, frequent constipation, or behavioral health issues, please call our office to schedule an appointment, so we may spend the adequate time to properly address your concerns.
Sports Physicals Our well child exams include a sports physical for school aged children. They incorporate screenings to ensure your child is able to safely participate in sports. If your child has had a physical in the last 12 months, your physician will be able to complete the needed forms required for their sports. Some forms require a sign-after date, but if your child has had a well child exam in the last 12 months, we will complete this form without an additional visit. Click here for the Kansas and Missouri high school sports pre-participation forms.
