        Founded in 1937, Junior League of Owensboro is a nonprofit organization that has more than 300 members. The organization supports various programs, such as Court Appointed Special Advocates, Grandma s Corner Crisis Daycare, GREAT Starts and Layette Procurement and Assembly. It also supports Lullaby Program and the foster care program. The organization offers volunteer training manuals, cards and badges, letterhead and envelopes to support the Court Appointed Special Advocates programs. It also offers weekly distribution services of baby food, formula and other necessities. Additionally, the organization offers strollers and first aid kits for emergency foster care program.
