About Our Business Our company, Cornerstone Management, Inc, was founded in 1977 with its primary emphasis on custom home building in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. Cornerstone began as a "hands-on" company with particular attention paid to the skills of carpentry. Management line and staff were all the same. While Cornerstone's background has been in carpentry, we have never been solely carpenter contractors. By performing the duties of a carpenter contractor on our own projects as the General Contractor, Cornerstone gained the experience to oversee all phases of construction. Over the years, Cornerstone Management Inc has crafted custom homes and renovation projects from $120, 000 to over $3 million. We have completed townhouses, single family homes, scattered site single family homes, as well as residential retrofit/remodeling projects throughout Chicagoland. We are currently active in an effort to help 1st time home buyers and home buyers in general take advantage of a special program that the Federal Housing Authority ( FHA ), which is a part of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, offers; the 203k Rehab Loan.
