Maintaining a location in Palm Harbor, Fla., the YMCA of the Suncoast is a charitable organization that serves more than 91,000 members and program participants through over 10 branches located in Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando and Citrus counties in Florida. It features a wellness center, group exercise studio, kids zone, nursery, youth and teen center, junior Olympic-size d heated pool and several lighted tennis courts. In addition to a variety of youth and adult programs, the YMCA of the Suncoast also offers programs for young adults with mental and physical disabilities. It offers after-school programs to promote the development of physical and social skills. The organization provides tutoring, homework assistance and mentoring services.
