Laity Institute of the Arts

Last month I had the unexpected pleasure of coming across a hidden treasure in the Antelope Valley. As a resident for over 15 years I'd secretly been hoping to see Palmdale or Lancaster provide a full visual and performing arts program for our community. Laity Institute of the Arts is that place! These people have secretly come into the valley and brought a serious mindset towards the arts. The place is clean and state-of-the-art in every aspect. When I came across the website i kinda thought they were too good to be true and tru enough nothing is absolutely perfect but they come pretty close. I decided to visit the place jsut to make sure this is the place for my children.



Wow, is all I can say. They are friendly, customer driven and eager to teach. They teach all of the visual and performing arts like dance, music, acting and art all at the same place which was what I was looking for. Gas being what it is these days. My son like the guitar lessons and my daughter really enjoyed the Ballet class. They let you test out a class before actually start. One minor thing is that they're located on the second floor of a nice office building but there's no elevator so you have to walk up to get to them. And they're not easy to find. But that's kinda minor like I said.



One thing is these people are very serious about your child's development and they're a not cheap. you could find the same classes at other places for less but you're not going to get the best quality or the small classes. They even have a curriculum they follow for the arts! All in all I think Laity is great and I hope they continue to grow.
