Gil's Gym & Racquet Health Club

I've been gong to Gil's off and on for years now. I moved away and then came back to the area having to cancel my membership and join again. I have never had one issue and the owners and staff have always been great. I started training with one of the new trainers Dave and have had some awesome results! No other gym in the area can compete. :)

Great facility and equipment with the best hours available in our area. The trainer John in the back room is awesome also. He calls himself the old man trainer lol, just a group of good guys.

I dont know why all the negative comments about the owner people say he wil take ur money after you cancle, not true. When i fell behind Glen himself called me and he worked out a great deal for me he lowered the amount i owed him and gave me a verry affordable payment plan and i was still able to go to the gym. Why is it that people think he is such a bad guy. He has always been so nice to me and my family and helped me re pay him the amount i owed. Maby people should repay their debts instead of bad mouth someone who owns a buissness and has a family of his own. Pay your bills and be responsible and maby he wouldent have to hound you for the money you owe him.

Like other people have said, we canceled our account and charges kept coming........cash or nothing.

I Work out at the Gym i got big muscles my arms so large and legs are peaking feel the burn baby o ya feel my muscle growing daily at gils gym. And the owner he catch so many large fish with are money he no wast time on small bank accounts have you not seen the cyborgs that lift with intensity. Schooney

I did not have any issues with Gil's Gym. I gave the guy at the desk my gold coin from Big Y to get my free trial month and then he showed me around the club. The gym looks clean and the equipment is up to date. So I will do my trial and decide later on if im going to join.

Gil's gym is a rip off!! Beware They will get their hands on your bank info and never let go, they will pull money out early and refuse to let you cancell. Even if you cancell your membership by the contract rules they will continue to pull money from your account. I had to go as far as cancell my bank card and go to the authorities. I received collection notices regularly and had to take legal action. The damage was already done and I am still fighting to have the negative mark removed from my credit history.

Nice staff and equipment is always updated. Been going to the gym for 3 years now and never had any issues with club.

My contract was up with Gil's Gym in November 2009. I mailed him a notice indicating that I was no longer going to continue my contract with him in October. He claims to never have recieved it. He is still charging me on my credit card even though I physically went down to cancel the contract in person last month. He is a scammer!!! If you plan on going -- CASH only or he'll rip you off!!

Glen the owner of this gym will rip you off!He has me and also some other people that I have spoken to in Palmer. He will try and rip money out of your account with out permission and cause. He will not let you cancel this membership even if your contract is up. He will and has finagled money out of his customers accounts.BEWARE!!Go elsewhere
