As a widow I depend on reliable service and advice. Shoemaker Heating and Plumbing has always provided that for me. In the past two years they have installed a tankless hot water heater and a new garbage disposal. Before that they installed a new heat pump. Annually I have them service my HVAC system. They have been reliable and cost effective. And they have always been careful to clean up after themselves. I will say the tankless hot water heater does take more time to deliver hot water to my shower--however it was installed to provide energy savings so I've learned to adjust.

Shoemaker came out three different times over the course of several months, to look at my furnace, and *never* successfully repaired it. The recommendation was that I had an "off brand' furnace, and i needed to replace it. This is a Nordyne that's about 7 years old!



In spite of this, the had no problem billing me over $600!



Will never use them again, won't ever recommend them to anyone. Stay away! (I'm giving them one star, only because I'm not permitted to give them zero.)

Shoemaker plumbing worked on our house during a major remodeling. The problems that we encountered were many. Every bathroom leaked and in two of the bathrooms the leaking pipes caused damage to our wall and cabinets. They had to come back to our house multiple times to fix the leaking pipe from one of the bathrooms. They installed three shower/bathtubs and everyone of them leaked - significantly! They did not even know how to properly install them and had to come back several times to get it right, but in the end still did not fully fix the problem! The master bath was plumbed in a crazy way. We have double sinks and if you turn on the hot water on one side the other side goes cold. Also, the shower does not get very hot, but if you turn on the hot water on my husbands sink it amazingly makes the shower hotter! Also, they left a large piece of plumbing in the garage un-insulated and so by the time the water gets into the house to the back bathroom it is cooled down. The leak damage to the cabinets and wall is still not fixed. As soon as they got their money they would not return our calls and never came back out to fix the problems that their employees had made. It has been a very frustrating experience and I would never recommend shoemaker plumbing to anyone. We still have cabinets damaged and my husband had to try to fix the leaky shower.
