Aurelio's Pizza

Yep, I couldn’t believe it.
Almost as good as the original Aurelio’s location in Homewood Illinois.

I would say that this has to be the most incompetent pizza place I have ever been to. The workers there are incredibly rude. I phone in my order and am told it would take about 15 minutes. I arrived about 3 minutes after the stated time to find that my order was ready, I can see it in the warmer. I pay for my order (which took about 5 minutes because she didn't know how to ring up the Aurelio's card), and was all set to get my order and go when the phone rings. The girl waiting on me says "oh, just a minute" and leaves to go answer the phone. While she is on the phone 2 other workers in the back are putting pizzas together and completed orders into the warmer, I catch glimpses of them from time to time, they were completely ignoring the going-on in the front. The girl who waits on me is still on the phone. About 5 minutes in of standing completely alone in the front, I catch the attention of one of the back workers as they place something in the warmer, and I get the "oh, she'll be just a minute." Meanwhile more customers have come in to pick up their orders. There are about 5 people behind me now waiting. Another 5 minutes goes by, another fed-up customer this time catches the attention of a back worker, who reluctantly stops what their doing to go fetch her order from the warmer. The girl who waited on me is STILL on the phone with the same customer, and at this point finally finished her conversation, it has been close to 15 minutes in total of waiting now. It must have been my "fault" standing there so long and so politely, so, I ask her for my order...she says its not ready yet. I tell her I can SEE IT in the warmer, and that I PAID for it already. She wouldn't give me my freaking order without seeing the receipt again. That topped the cake! I told her how incredibly rude it was to, keep customers waiting that long after they already PAID, and then ignoring them while their paid for food is roasting in the warmer. I can understand going to the phone to take an order, but at least send someone from the back up to the front to complete the orders and check people out. I get the stupid response of, "oh, well we are very busy." What a bunch of incompentent rude individuals! This was the last time I waste my time and money on this rotten joint.
