Lisa's Italian Ice

I first tried Lisa's Italian Ice at the Taste of Park Ridge and was immediately hooked. The lemon ice has just the right amount of tartness and is not sickly sweet. Later I went to the shop and sampled the homemade ice cream, which rivals the big name brand down the block, and the gourmet popcorn. I must admit everything tasted fresh and was very-very good.

The shop is clean, important to me, and cutely decorated. In addition the staff was very patient and informative as I made my way through the samples. As an informed consumer I asked several questions was told everything is made fresh, on site, and with fresh ingredients when available. In todays society where most foods are preprocessed and it is rush, rush, rush it's refreshing to find this type of business.
