I was a student here for nearly three years and learned quite a bit about Muay Thai (translated: Thai Boxing) for fitness and self defense, as well as an observer of amateur and professional matches held here and at other schools and locations. I took beginner level classes for fitness only; however because of the familial atmosphere that is evident the first time you walk through the doors, every level of student, from beginner all the way up to those who wish to compete professionally, is encouraged to learn about and respect the art and history of Thailand's official national sport. In addition to classes for fitness, and those geared toward readying the student for his or her first competition, there's also an awesome kid's program too. But be warned: this is not American-styled "kickboxing;" this is the "real deal," so expect to do some work to see the results you want. Another plus about Pro Training, Inc - Sityodtong USA is that the school supports local, national and international charitable causes, and is an active upstanding member of the Pasadena business community. I highly recommend this place!
