Marine Surveyors are often the only thing protecting you from purchasing an unsafe or overpriced vessel. Capt. Gruetzner has gone to great lengths through practical experience and continuing education to maintain both the skill level and remain current with the appropriate marine standards and trends Charlie Gruetzner is an Accredited Marine Surveyor with the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors (SAMS), as well as, a member of the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC), the Society of Naval Archtects and Marine Engineers (SNAME), the International Association of Marine Investigators (IAMI) and the Hudson Valley Marine Trades Association (HVMTA). I have worked very hard to educate myself to the highest standards in the marine surveying industry. I am extensively well versed in both sail and power vessels having operated and maintained boats for many years.
