Customer service is lacking. I arrived about 11:15am for an oil change, was told it would be 4 hours before they could get to me, understandable; however, when I said I would come back, the serviceman shrugged his shoulders and stated, “I might have it cleared up”.

Always check your receipt. I had some work done on my car at Pepboys in Pelham this past week. I had a feeling I needed to check the receipt. I found a charge for a limited extended warranty. I didn't ask for an extended warranty and wasn't asked if I wanted an extended warranty and wasn't told anything about a warranty. I called George at Pepboys and asked about the warranty. He tried to explain the warranty. I told him I didn't ask for it and wasn't told about it. He told me to come back in to get a refund. When I got there I asked George if they do this routinely. He said they are told to add it. Told by who, I don't know. I said you're told to add a charge for an extended warranty without it being asked for and not telling the customer it's being added? Yep. That's what they do. #pepboys

I got brakes, tires, & alignment. Ok price... but the service took longer than promised. I was told 'the equipment broke'. Driving home I noticed that my car now pulls to the right. I was unable to return to this location because the alignment equipment broke. Set an appointment with the galleria location for 10:30am. It was supposed to take 45minutes. At 12:15 I get a call to inform that there was nothing they could do, it is my tires. :x

Set of four new tires purchased in December, not balanced properly twice. Tires recommended by reps of poor quality. Brought back January, store manager admitted they rushed through the install and did not properly balance. After third visit in February, promised store manager would "call the next day." Still awaiting that call.
