Worst experience I've ever had working with any form of tradesman, carpenter or contractor. Louis A. Zanelli lied to us on multiple occasions saying he could do a job that he could not deliver. We contracted for a job that he said would be done in two months. He drag the process out for over a year and a half and still was not able to complete the job. Finally had to bring in a lawyer in order to refund the over $5,000 we had already paid him. Even then he would not cooperate and often made threats to our lawyer. We eventually did get a full refund of our money but did not get reimbursed the hours of wasted time in dealing with him nor, the over a thousand dollars in legal fees. If you are considering hiring him, I'd advise only paying upfront for any money you are willing to throw away as a deposit. Then not a cent more until the job is complete.
