Horizons Community Church

The atmosphere of Horizons Community Church is exceptional. You are always greeted with a smile and everyone makes you feel like you belong the minute you step foot on the walkway. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the community and great activities for children to participate in.



This church is very well-rounded and is honestly the best I have ever been to.



Sermons - Always interesting to listen to and not dull in the least. The pastors really know how to liven things up by referring to real-life issues as well as put bits of comedy in the message to keep you listening. The messages hit home and are never on the same subject for too long.



Staff - Everyone will make you feel like you belong and will show you that church is more than just something you do because of habit or the feel that you need to. The love that you feel from them will make you want to keep coming back and look forward to going to church every Sunday.



Music - The church's worship team is amazing. The music is always spectacular and fun to sing along with. You can litterally see the love people have for God when they are on stage leading you along in singing.



Community - Practically once a month there is some form of get-together to just spend time with each other. Whether it's going to the movies together, visiting someone's house or even going hiking there are definately plenty of opportunities to learn about your church family and to get involved. Horizons also offers small groups for adults, senior activities for the elderly, child care during services, and a weekly in-church meeting for both high school kids and college students.



Enviornment - Horizons has a wonderful atmosphere to it and is very beautiful. The floor in the main lobby is tiled and beautifully lined with windows showing off the grounds. The auditorium has a comfortable feel to it and, upon entering, your eyes are immediately drawn to an extraordinary wooden cross hung in the back illuminated atop a stone wall. There is even much care put into the restrooms down the hall which are nicer than some of the finer restaraunts.
