Curio Shop

In 2002 I bought what was said to be a Civil War canteen from the Curio Shop. I recently sold this canteen at auction. The Civil War collectors that were present at the auction remarked that the wool covering did not look right. These collectors felt that the canteen was NOT government issued during the Civil War, but probably 35-40 years after. Needless to say, I lost quite a bit of money. The item was not as advertised. The auction is over, so now there is no way for me to get a refund for the canteen. I am not pleased and would not recommend the Curio Shop.
