Our family medicine providers focus on healthy weight - weight loss and weight gain and our Nutritionist helps patients with an adequate and balanced diet. A healthy weight is more than just your BMI number and everyone is different. We treat the whole person to overcome food, exercise and metabolic challenges with the goal of reducing weight-related health conditions such as high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, GERD, thyroid disorders and sleep apnea. Initial treatment often includes lifestyle modification (nutrition and physical activity), counseling and FDA-approved prescription weight-management medications.
Nutritional Counseling
West Friendly is the home to Eagle Nutrition Services and is located at 5921-D West Friendly Ave., Greensboro, NC 27410. Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am - 5pm; closed Friday. Call 336-268-3133 for more information. Our nutrition patients come to us from the Guilford County, North Carolina communities of Greensboro, Oak Ridge, Summerfield, Piedmont Triad and surrounding locations.
Pediatric Care
Telephone Triage: Whenever possible, we ask that calls requesting medical advice be made during office hours when our staff has access to your child’s medical records. If an urgent problem arises and you cannot wait for the office to open, you may call our after-hours answering service. A nurse from the nurse call center will contact you and offer medical advice that has been approved by our physicians. If the need arises, they will contact our on-call provider. Eagle Pediatrics is charged for this service, but currently does not pass that charge along to you, so we are requesting that you utilize this service for serious concerns only.
Primary Care
Eagle’s internists are primary-care physicians who diagnose and treat adult patients with chronic and acute illnesses and complex medical disorders – we also provide preventive medicine and routine care. Their wide spectrum of care includes everything from runny noses to constipation or diarrhea, in-office physical exams and medical treatment for serious illness.
Sleep Disorders
Sleep medicine is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders such as sleep apnea, circadian rhythm disturbances, narcolepsy and insomnia. Our bodies need restorative sleep to support core functions that affect our cardiac, metabolic, neurologic and other systems. Sleep deprivation from illnesses or from the demands of everyday life take a great toll on our health.
Family Practice
Eagle’s endocrinologist works with Eagle’s family medicine physicians and internists to discuss symptoms and monitor your health. Our goal is helping you overcome your disorder, Stay Healthy™ and live your life to the fullest.

Colonoscopy
Many patients choose to have their colonoscopy performed at our Eagle Endoscopy & Colonoscopy Center, a specialized, state-of-the-art ambulatory surgical center where Eagle gastroenterologists perform minimally invasive GI procedures such as colonoscopy and endoscopy to diagnose and treat problems in the digestive system. Our ambulatory patients enjoy a safe, comfortable, pleasant and cost-effective setting for their colonoscopy procedures.

Here at your Patient Centered Medical Home your doctor delivers preventive medicine, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic disorders, flu shots and other immunizations, performs minor surgical procedures and overall planning for a healthy future. Our family physicians work closely with other Eagle specialists and specialty providers in the Greensboro area to coordinate diagnostic testing,, consulting, treatment and managing the referral process.

Immunization Policy: At Eagle Pediatrics we follow the American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines for immunizations and feel strongly in immunizing our patients to protect infants and children. We are unable to accept patients uninterested in immunizations.

Eagle’s board-certified endocrinologist, Dr. Jeffrey Kerr, is trained to recognize hormone problems and provide treatment for a wide range of disorders of the endocrine system. Dr. Kerr works closely with your primary-care physician to understand your medical history and key factors that will help us treat and manage your disorder.
