Founded in 1999, Franklin-Edison Primary School offers learning opportunities to students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. The school conducts classes in music, art and physical education. Franklin-Edison Primary School features a media center that houses books, magazines, newspapers, reference materials and computers. Its after-school activities include music and reading clubs and Boy Scouts. Franklin-Edison Primary School offers breakfast and lunch to students. It operates a volunteer group of parents, guardians and other family members who work with teachers and to enhance the educational and social experiences of children.
