Dishonest plumbers! Will try to rip you off at any turn!

I had a hot water heater replacement through Sears and they subcontracted the installation to this company. It was a nightmare from the get go. Even though the cost of the installation was covered by Sears, right off the bat they tried to get me to pay them directly for the installation. After that was squared away when they came to install the water heater he said I needed a electric shut off box which would run me $300 (which I already had but he tried telling me it was just a timer and could not shut off the electricity), $100 for a bonding wire (total ripoff, its literally $15 in parts and 5 mins to put on) and $175 to replace a valve that was "shot" (I later inspected it and its fine). So they wanted to charge me $575 on top of the installation cost that Sears was already paying them for. The worst part was that once again he tried to make me pay direct without consulting Sears, which is a big no no since sears is supposed to middle man all of the transactions and interactions between the plumber and the customer. I was told they didn't have one of the parts and would need to come back tomorrow but if I didn't proceed with the install through them he would need to charge me a $70 "delivery fee" of the water heater, payable to him right now. RIDICULOUS!



Stay away from this company at all costs.
