Dental Examination
Here at Brostowitz Family Dentistry, we will work with you to develop a customized dental hygiene plan that includes a dental examination, tooth cleaning, X-ray and use of other diagnostic equipment to prevent, discover or treat problems as early as possible.

Teeth Cleaning
Your regular exam at Brostowitz Family Dentistry will take 45 minutes to an hour. Each regular exam includes a detailed tooth cleaning, in which we will clean, polish, and rinse your teeth to remove any tartar and plaque that have built up on the tooth's surface.
Dental Sealants
Sealants are quick and easy tooth-colored plastic-coated resin coatings designed to fill little grooves in your teeth to prohibit bacteria buildup. The process is quite simple. Your dentist will clean your teeth, then apply a solution that will allow the sealant to stick tightly to the tooth. The first dental sealant to be placed is usually on the fissure of the first permanent molar tooth, once the chewing surface of the tooth has erupted completely beyond the gum. Your dentist will then paint the sealant on in a liquid form that hardens in just about a minute, and that’s it!

Dental bonding is an efficient, affordable process of bonding tooth-colored resin to the teeth to hide imperfections like small gaps, minor chips, and discoloration. Along with cosmetic benefits, bonding can also be used to fill cavities.

We may incorporate a variety of restorative procedures in the development of your treatment plan that will help prevent decay or disease of your teeth, mouth, gums and tongue. We also use restorative dentistry procedures to repair the effects of tooth decay, trauma, or disease in these areas of the mouth.

David Brostowitz, D.D.S. is a 1982 graduate of Marquette University’s School of Dentistry. After he graduated, he completed an extra year of training in Cleveland, OH at Metro General/Cuyahoga County Hospital.
