The metal items, such as desks, lockers, and file cabinets, are electrically charged and grounded. When sprayed the charged paint firmly attaches to the metal surface and dries within minutes to a smooth coating. Desks and file cabinets do not need to be emptied. This means that the paint job is of better quality. Less paint is used to cover the same surface, and the overspray, the paint spray or drips that got on everything, is reduced to zero.
