Shoppers BEWARE!



Do NOT leave any kind of a deposit with Dress Up Time (cash or credit) unless you want to loose it. Better yet, shop elsewhere!



My wife and daughter were shopping for a prom dress and saw a dress that they liked but were unsure about. When asked if they (Dress Up Time) would put it aside until a final purchase decision was made, my wife was told that she would have to leave a deposit on the dress. Unwarily, a deposit was left (not for 10% or 15% but more than 45% of the purchase price.) My wife and daughter then went looking at dresses elsewhere and decided not to purchase from Dress Up Time. Five days later Dress Up Time refused to refund the deposit or give any kind of refund. Sure, they could have been reasonable and charged us a 15% restocking fee or something, but NOOOOOO they decided to be greedy and keep over $200! They get the dress... They keep the money too! The merchandise never left the store! Was never altered in any way! They only offered a store credit which was not wanted or needed.



Do not ever be foolish and risk more than a 10% deposit for purchases. Make sure you read anything that you sign thoroughly. Do not shop at businesses like Dress Up Time who use poor business practices!
