If I could give a zero rating.. I would. I hired Kim Warshawsky to defend me in a challenge of mine and my husbands trust (after he passed away) by his ex-wife. I won the case but only because she brought in Mike Nicodema (Head Partner) of her previous firm. The part she needed to handle was to make sure that a clause from the trust stating that anyone who challenged the trust and lost would be responsible to pay my legal fees. She failed to do so and I lost nearly 1.2 million because of that omission. The final part of the trial that she handled, she decided to have a newly graduated, new hire (Jessica Wilson) try the case even though I objected to it on 3 separate occasions. Needless to say, I lost that part of the case. In August after informing me that I had lost the second portion of the case, I inquired as to why she hadn't inserted the clause needed to recoup my attorney fees. Her response was that it was to late as the statue of limitations to file the claim had passed. Knowing she screwed up (literally, rendering me bankrupt) she filed to be removed as counsel with only 2 months left to finalize what has been a 10 yr. ordeal. Even though the Judge hasn't yet ruled on her motion she has refused to do her due diligence and finish the case. She has left me no choice but to file a malpractice suit against her, Jessica and her firm and I have begun the process of filing a complaint with the Bar Association. Unless, you want to end up bankrupt like myself and lose your case.. Do yourself a favor and hire Mike Nicodema. You can google him. He is brilliant and I wish I had used him throughout the entire trial. I wouldn't be In this position. I can bet that after this review you will see many of her friends and co-workers giving good reviews. Trust me, the mere fact that she wasn't competent enough to insert a vital clause, rendering me bankrupt then not doing her LEGAL duty of completing the case should, in itself, be a cause for pause.
