Waldens Creek Campground

At first glance this campground looked relatively clean. Unfortunately we discovered (too late of course) that the campground had very poor drainage with standing water and mud through out the sites. Not sure what the standing water was through the campground but there was a swampy smell throughout. The campers we met were friendly and seemed to be trying their best to not let the poor conditions get in the way of their activities. My biggest problem, however was with management. Although they charged a daily rate, the fact that we went ahead and payed in advance out of convenience, the manager opted to keep the fees for the last six days of our stay when we had to leave early and refused any credit whatsoever. Oh well, like my dad always said, "If they can live with it... I can live without it".
