Nestled among the tall trees, this screened porch built by Deckscapes adds tons of outdoor living space to this beautiful house located in Charlotte, NC in the Mountain Island Lake area. The wide layout allows for an eating area with table and chairs, a sitting area with couches and a large TV, and a bar area for adult time. The roof layout is a large shed style along with an open gable to allow for a ton of natural light. The flooring is Cox Eco Life decking boards with a Sherwin Williams semi transparent stain. The ceiling is a tongue and groove clear pine also with a Sherwin Williams semi transparent stain. In the ceiling are 8 separate recessed can lights set on dimmer switches to really make it calming and relaxing. The rails are black, round aluminum ballusters with wood mid rail. There is a pet door set into the railing to allow for easy access to the outside for their four legged friend. We set some wall sconces into the hollow laminated columns to really make it feel comfortable when watching TV or just entertaining friends. We finished off the project with a 2 piece untumbled paver patio at the bottom of the stairs to allow for a grilling station. This open and inviting porch and patio allows for family and friends to Enjoy being Outside.
