Artspace & Coffeehouse

I moved to the East End of Pittsburgh about a year ago and discovered ARTspace & Coffeehouse almost by accident while riding my bike towards Frick Park…



…I’ve been eating in that AMAZINGLY cool place ever since. Their COMPLETELY vegetarian lunch menu (some vegan dishes) is the BEST in the CITY and their coffees (I drink mostly “Americanos”, which they prepare with passion, but also drip coffees) totally ROCK and all the beans they carry are Fair-Trade & Organic (I think La Prima is their roaster). They also have AMAZING desserts (not CCF material) and awesome SMOOTHIES (all naturals).



The space is very cool & comfortable, the baristas are so friendly & know their drinks and believe it or not the place is so CLEAN (incl. their restroom…can you dig that?)



Then, there is a totally sweet back PATIO (smoke-free!) where I usually sit and eat while read books or study (or meet friends). The wireless (free when you buy some stuff of course…) works all over, including the PATIO.



They have FREE music concerts in the summertime (call them for listings) and all sorts of other events and gigs.



BEST COFFEEHOUSE IN TOWN…no doubt about that (and I am very serious about my coffee…)



This is a MUST stop…
