Benjamin's

I really do like Benjamin's & miss it. It's food is usually good, Bloody Mary bar"s great, nice size, Nice neighborly atmosphere - except for the fly & gnat battle that was going on around our & our neighbor's table. Someone could get hurt with the swatting hands flying. This is not the first time for the fly vs. gnat battle. This used to be one of our favorite "go-to's" practically regulars last summer but the Quality of the food, the Attitude of the staff, the Not being able to order hamburgers at the same time bcuz I always got my friends Med/Well (that was to be Med) & My friend always got my Med/Rare (that was a little too rare) The hamburgers last summer were sooo much tastier than the ones of late & the Home fries weren't as greasy & over over salted. The Staff last summer seemed more invested but now seem distracted & annoyed. We've wait longer for our food each time & see the staff (Including Kitchen) at end of bar or outside talking instead of Waiting. So disappointing of late. OH & Sorry + 1 MORE THING = PLEASE get better napkins - they are the same but have always been bad = too thin & flimsy. i bet for not much more you could have a better napkin than that TP that's available now. With all that being said in the hope that Benjamins will read & think about what & why things are not as good as they were? cheaper meat? absent owner? & that they PLEASE get a fly strip (but not where we can see it ok :) I wish I could give higher but maybe if things get better again
