Borough of Millvale Police Department

SOME of the officers are good but the ones that have been there awhile do NOT uphold their oath to uphold the laws and civil rights of the citizens. Mike Vith once arrested ME for breaking up a fight between my ex wife and my girlfriend. My ex came into MY home when I repeatedly told her to leave. I finally pulled her out by her arms and he took me and my girlfriend (who was in bed when attacked)to jail while taking my ex to agh and letting her go. In court vith told the judge, "I did it because they lived so close together and didn't want any other incident" WTF how about taking the one that started it to jail. The sad part is that he is the one training their new officers. Get rid of Mike Vith and his$80,000 a year salary (which is 700% HIGHER than average borough salary) and people of the town that are trying to do better won't have to worry about getting beat down by a tyrant and man that probably doesn't even remember his oath!!

I have not had one good experience with the Millvale Police. This is a redundant situation, and yet we have a creepy chief who makes $70K a year and I can't figure out what he does. I have a neighbor from hell who repeatedly threatens to hurt me, tells me she wants me dead and when I call the police they do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Once they told me to move. They won't press charges even when she punched me in the face with no provocation. I thought their motto was "to protect and serve," oh wait, that is the real police. The ones who go to the Police Academy. If you are thinking of moving to Millvale, realize you aren't in Pittsburgh anymore, and it's a lawless place full of nepotism and corruption.
